General Summary:

This is a critical role for the business. Successful performance requires an intense willingness to effectively interface with and communicate to the field sales team and valued customers. This position is responsible for achieving assigned cash targets.

In this role, the Associate Credit Collector collects monthly cash from customers, reconciles accounts where necessary, forecasts for reporting purposes cash collections, collaborates with multi-organizational departments to understand and resolve customer issues to facilitate timely payment of invoices, credit memo processing, review and release of credit holds.

Key responsibilities:

Manage an AR portfolio to collect cash from customer via email and/or alternative systems to improve overall AR Metrics, Portfolio Health and early Risk Identification.
Interpret large and sometimes complex customers to assist in the collection process and resolve issues to facilitate timely payment of invoices
Identify disputed items and communicate the information to the appropriate personnel
Ensure proper account maintenance according to the established policies and procedures
Provide information to customers to assist in the collection process (invoice copies, proof of deliveries, contracts, PO’s, statements)
Manage the entry of data into ON-Line payment portals
Miscellaneous administrative task
Work with 3rd Party Collection Agencies / Attorneys when needed.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma.
Preferred: 1 year related experience in an Accounting, Finance Role, Customer Service Role.
Preferred: Some college or college degree.
Excellent English Skills: Written, Oral, Presentation required.
Average PC skills- Basic Microsoft Office, Outlook, Explorer
Preferred: Excel (Beginner / Intermediate), SAP
Basic financial risk assessment skills
Excellent Inter-personal and communications skills

    Pros: La empresa cuenta con buenas prestaciones y buenos sueldos. Promueven el crecimiento profesional interno y te toman en cuenta para otros puestos si ya eres empleado.

    Contras: La empresa tiene una buena estructura y promueven mucho el crecimiento interno pero no tienen bien implementado el proceso y muchas veces no obtienes un beneficio económico al moverte a otro puesto. Los mejores puestos los ponen fuera de México

    Consejos para los directivos: Preocuparse más por los empleados y gratificar mejor cada año, en cambio de puestos y dar todas las herramientas necesarias para desarrollar el prabajo
