ROLE DESCRIPTION:

Global Corporate Affairs (GCA) is responsible for SAP's corporate reputation, communications, government relations and corporate social responsibility. The team develops strategic messaging and corporate content and engages vital audiences in dialogue to advance SAP’s position as THE cloud company powered by SAP HANA and disrupt the information environment on select, highly relevant topics.

Our priority audiences include c-suite executives, millennial top talent, policymakers, transformationals, and employees.

In that context, the Integrated Communications functions within Global Corporate Affairs are responsible for planning and driving the execution of communications activities across these multiple audiences. Integrated communications functions within GCA exist on the global, regional, and local levels.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:

The Expert in this function ….

  • Leads a virtual global or regional team that is responsible for all or a selection of the below dimensions of managing communications programs and channels.
  • The Expert level of Integrated Communications covers all or a selection of GCA’s communications objectives or programs.
  • At the Expert level this job may include hands-on media relations and/or employee communications responsibilities (building channels, creating and sharing content, and reaching out to audiences).

Dimensions of managing communications programs and channels:

Aligning and Focusing

  • Deriving key communications objectives and strategies from business objectives and strategies in consultation with internal stakeholders
  • Building communications messages and selecting communications topics to focus on

Planning and Resourcing

  • Defining communications activities against key communications objectives, strategies, and programs
  • Identifying related cost and required bandwidth
  • Managing budgets
  • Aligning audience needs with appropriate content formats and channels

Getting people ready

  • Evaluate and deploy technology and best practices to support integrated and collaborative communications planning and execution across the global communications function.

Orchestrating the Execution of Communications Programs

  • Ensure the integrated execution of communication programs (building channels, creating and sharing content, and reaching out to audiences)
  • Ensuring alignment, high impact, synergies and reuse.
  • Develop and implement related processes
  • Develop, implement, and manage efficient communications channels

Monitoring and Adjusting

  • Tracking execution of plan
  • Conducting measurements
  • Collecting feedback from target audiences
  • Gauging satisfaction of stakeholders
  • Channel the results of measurements as well as other outside-in intelligence (incl. media coverage analysis) from constituency groups into the processes for building the SAP business strategy and the GCA communications strategy.
  • Reviewing and analyzing impact
  • Adjusting plans and content

WORK EXPERIENCE:

  • Several years of experience in hands-on design and implementation of communications concepts and plans
  • Experience in communications to more than one influencer type (media, bloggers, analyst, governments officials, employee communications)
  • English is either your native language or you have excellent English writing and editing skills
  • Several years of personnel management or (virtual) leadership responsibility
  • Experience in communications for change management processes
  • Professional communicator who is not shy to express opinions and consult others on communications activities
  • Self-motivated and team oriented
  • Flexible and able to cope with stress
  • Experienced in handling confidential material
  • Understanding of IT market
  • Editorial experience a big plus
  • Know-how of SAP products
  • Comfortable with interpreting implications of corporate strategy for various communications disciplines

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

  • College and/or University Degree desired (or equivalent education)

    Pros: Bonos, reparto de utilidades, acciones de retención. Muy buen plan de incentivos. Capacitación, excelente equipo de trabajo. Médico dentro de la empresa, Asesoría psicológica. Plan médico bueno con dental y visión.

    Contras: Hay que saber manejar muy bien la presión. En Ocasiones el ritmo de trabajo es muy fuerte y debes mantener la calma y hacer el mejor esfuerzo.

    Pros: Prestaciones para internos, ambiente laboral, horario de trabajo, zona, motivadores laborales, actividades de recursos humanos, descuentos se empleado

    Contras: No encuentro algun punto negativo en particular, quizas depende todo del area a la que correspondas dentro de la organización para los niveles excesivos de carga de trabajo
