Enterprise Account Manager - Public Sector Mexico

DESCRIPTION

Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing awareness and adoption of Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the Mexico Public Sector market specifically the government, education & non-profit organizations segments? Do you have the business savvy, public sector experience and technical background necessary to help establish Amazon as a key technology platform provider? Are you passionate about the engaging and driving cloud-based solutions in the Mexico public sector business? Amazon Web Services is expanding into the Mexico market coverage, and this role offers a creative, fast paced, entrepreneurial work environment where you'll be at the center of Amazon innovation.

AWS Worldwide Public Sector (WWPS) is looking for an experienced Enterprise Account Manager to focus on a set of named Mexico Public Sector accounts. The ideal candidate has sales experience with a terrific reputation for over achieving quota while focusing on enterprise-level customer. S/he should also be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against an assigned account plan and consistently deliver on quarterly revenue targets. The ideal candidate will possess both a sales and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the CXO level as well as with software developers and IT architects. The Enterprise Account Manager will be an exceptionally strong analytical thinker who has IT sales experience with a major vendor in the IT market and embraces all aspects of selling. S/he will thrive in fast-paced dynamic environments and have very strong communication and presentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities:
* Drive revenue and market share in a defined account group to meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets.
* Develop and execute against a territory plan that leads to the creation and maintenance of a robust sales pipeline
* Manage numerous accounts concurrently & strategically.
* Analyze sales/metrics data from your territory to help evolve your strategy.
* Accelerate customer adoption through education and engagement.
* Work with partners to manage their pipelines, amplify their efforts, coach their resources and drive adoption.
* Assist customer in identifying use cases for priority adoption of Amazon Web Services as well as best practices implementations.
* Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
* Create and implement sales programs and tools that increase performance within your account base.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of technology related sales, business development, or sales engineering/consulting experience in the Public Sector government segment.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Limited travel throughout the country of Mexico.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English & Spanish

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Experience working/selling via a partner solutions channel in the Mexico Public Sector market.
  • Proven track record of exceeding quota.

    Contras: Son pocos lis puntos negativos la verdad es una empresa como pocas en México y mucha gente se siente orgullosa de trabajar en Amazon son pocas la negativas que se escuchan

    Pros: Excelente trato a los empleados, flexibilidad de horarios, crecimiento basado 100% en resultados, buen ambiente laboral, disponibilidad para aprender cosas diferentes siempre

    Contras: Está en Santa Fe y el tráfico no ayuda, sin embargo existe la posibilidad de hacer home office. Otro punto es que no ofrecen vales y eso siempre es un excelente incentivo de las buenas empresas en nuestro país

    Consejos para los directivos: Manténganse así, es un excelente lugar para trabajar y cumplir tus metas profesionales sin tener que sacrificar las personales. Falta un poco negociar algunos beneficios, pero sabemos que cosas muy buenas vienen en camino.
