Finance Analyst

This position is responsible for providing direct support to the Finance
Manager. This requires accomplishing a variety of accounting and project
management tasks, including but not limited to AP/AR analysis both trade and
IC, processing and managing journal entries, inventory accounting and standard
costing analysis, review and analysis of actual financial information as it
relates to monthly financial reviews and forecasts, fixed asset accounting,
balance sheet account management, Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and the
development of processes and procedures to increase the efficiency and value
of the Accounting department.

A. Analysis of plant operations, including manufacturing studies, cost out
analysis, make or buy studies, plant loading, etc.

B. Analysis of capital projects and maintenance of Oracle fixed asset system.

C. Ensuring compliance with all SOX and Corporate Audit requirements.

D. Complete monthly and quarterly account reconciliations according to Eaton
financial policy.

E. Assist with the annual physical inventory and reconciliation.

F. Support manufacturing operations by reviewing various aspects of plant
operations, including, but not limited to manpower analysis, trend analysis,
etc.

G. Ensure on-time completion of monthly, quarterly and yearly reporting
requirements.

H. Communicate results to ensure timely and effective decision making.

I. Participate and drive the month-end closing and forecast processes.

J. Prepare multiple reporting requests and provide analyses as required
including monthly commentary package.

K. Coordinate with internal trading partners on a monthly basis to ensure all
Inter/Intra company balances are accurate and reporting requirements are being
met.

L. Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting procedures.

M. Assist with the annual profit planning process and standard cost roll.

N. Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement Activities such as:
Kaizen, Ideas Programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year
over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve or business goals
and/objectives

Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
Administration.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in Maquiladora in similar position.
* Bilingual English/Spanish
* Familiar with Finance information Systems (Oracle, SAP, DFT, MFGPro)
