The individual in this role will assume general accounting responsibilities, such as, closing process in HFM and supporting SAP and other ERP’s closing processes, coordination of Intercompany loans, preparing journal entries, financial reports, documentation and sign-off on the preparation of account reconciliations for different Balance Sheet accounts, among different Honeywell Units.
This role includes understanding the nature of the balance sheet accounts, the analysis of activities within each account, the detailed sub-ledger preparations, and monthly reconciliation.
Identify problem areas and take corrective actions. This role will participate in accounting month end process; assist with general ledger maintenance. Assist in the preparation of internal reporting schedules and for external auditors.
5 years minimum of Accounting / Finance experience
Strong process and analytical skills
Strong analytical and communication skills (verbal and written), conflict resolution abilities and group facilitation skills
Ability to manage a heavy/diverse workload in a changing environment and strong demonstration of financial & analytical skills with the ability to think outside the traditional role in order to improve processes and customer relationships.
Must have a strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft tools.
Working experience with SAP a strong attribute
Ability to meet deadlines and ability to develop and implement standardized processes.
Strong sense of urgency and a proven ability to get the job done
Excellent organizational skills and able to manage priorities and workflow
Multi-task oriented and very responsible.
Actively demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement, digitization, teamwork, and customer satisfaction, delivering on time and good communication skills. In general assist the accounting team with day to day supporting activities.
English fluent (80%).
