Senior Trade Analyst

The position manages the Importation and Exportation Areas to ensure Customs
Compliance for all sites in Reynosa, special knowledge on Customs laws, VAT
law, rules applicable to Foreign Trade Operations, border crossing of Raw
material, finished goods products, equipment, Inventory conciliation between
I/E software & MRP, auditing pedimentos and Customs operations and US entries,
Duty payment for products, Free Trade Agreement benefits on all products,
classification under Harmonized Tariff Schedule, ability to I/E (productive
and nonproductive) products according to Mexican and US regulation. Also will
support all government requests and any kind of Customs Audits (Internal or

Exceed the expectation of internal and external customers as it relates to on
time delivery, quality and timely decision making.

* Bachelor’s degree in Law or Foreign Trade
* Strong understanding in Customs laws
* Customs Risk Analysis
* Experience on government audits and/or government requirements

  • 3-5 yrs of experience in the same position preferred

  • Bilingual English-Spanish (100%)

  • Microsoft Office (Excel audit formulas)

  • Knowledge Vastera or CAM System

  • Strong communication skills with internal and external customers.

  • Experience on Inventory reconciliations

  • Experience on Duty reductions

  • HTS Classification Skills

  • Team player

  • Self driven strong communicator

    Pros: Excelente empresa, nivel de liderazgo muy bueno siguen debidamente todos sus valores y filosofía. Es una empresa muy incluyente y sus gerentes son muy responsables

    Contras: Trabajar un poco más en el área de producción debido a que les falta un poco más de organización en piso y en el Stock .

    Pros: Hay en la empresa compañeros y superiores que emanan talento.. Siempre te orientan en tus dudas, compañeros amables. Hay oportunidades de crecimiento

    Contras: Se tiene oportunidad de 5S en los baños de producción. Hacer una investigación sobre las horas extras que se da en las áreas de diferentes turnos. Dado que se nota que hay favoritismo. En algunos altos mandos se sospecha de corrupción.

    Consejos para los directivos: Desarrollar lideres y no solo empleados. A los ejecutivos darles un cuarto de meditación.
