Warehouse Supervisor

Functions:

A. Schedule the receipt, shipping, assortment, handling, distribution and
storage of all materials, raw materials and finished products that enter and
leave the warehouse.

B. Ensure that all sales / production orders are sent to external / internal
customers in a timely manner, they must comply in terms of quantities,
delivery dates or special requirements indicated in purchase orders, orders
and / or quality inspections as well as specifications.

C. Communicate delays or variations in inbound / outbound shipments to the
parties involved, including import and export of materials.

D. Maintain a strict control of the inventory in accordance with the
objectives and indicators of the company to meet the internal and external
demand of the products.

E. Plan warehouse design and space requirements in order to avoid loss or
damage, and to achieve warehouse optimization.

F. Take into account the implications of freight volume, freight billing,
size, weight and other factors when allocating warehouse space.

G. Conduct periodic random inspections of inventory levels. Identify
discrepancies between inventory records and take action.

H. Evaluate the need and organize the acquisition of warehouse equipment and
for movement of materials such as scales, skates, forklifts, etc.

I. Implement and monitor performance metrics for shipping, assortment and
receipt.

J. Ensure the order and accommodation of materials within the warehouse, as
well as their physical condition.

K. Continuously improve warehouse operations through the use of Lean
methodology.

L. Measure and report on the effectiveness of warehouse
activities.QualificationsEducation: Business Administration, Industrial
Engineering or related. Titled

Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in warehouses (including one year of
experience as supervisor)

* Problem solving (ability to analyze and develop alternatives)
* Conflict management

    Pros: Excelente empresa, nivel de liderazgo muy bueno siguen debidamente todos sus valores y filosofía. Es una empresa muy incluyente y sus gerentes son muy responsables

    Contras: Trabajar un poco más en el área de producción debido a que les falta un poco más de organización en piso y en el Stock .

    Pros: Hay en la empresa compañeros y superiores que emanan talento.. Siempre te orientan en tus dudas, compañeros amables. Hay oportunidades de crecimiento

    Contras: Se tiene oportunidad de 5S en los baños de producción. Hacer una investigación sobre las horas extras que se da en las áreas de diferentes turnos. Dado que se nota que hay favoritismo. En algunos altos mandos se sospecha de corrupción.

    Consejos para los directivos: Desarrollar lideres y no solo empleados. A los ejecutivos darles un cuarto de meditación.
